Willow Bank Care Home welcomed Amy from @thelinkingnetwork this week.
Our home willow bank has been working alongside Amy for a while and we have been linking with Beckfoot Allerton primary, this project has brought great joy to our residents.
Despite working together for months, it was the first time Amy had been able to visit in person, a visit our residents had been looking forward to for some time.
The children and residents stay in contact through letters and artwork, before covid the children would visit the home and the residents were able to visit the school. We hope this might be able to resume at some point.
It was great to have Amy around to chat with our residents, have a tour of the home and enjoy afternoon tea.
