Something as simple as a sing-song can be so meaningful for the ladies and gents living in our care homes.
We all know music can have such an impact on our motions and a song can spark memories we thought were forgotten and take us back decades to a specific moment in time.
Here are some photographs of the residents in Spiers Care Home during a karaoke session in one of the lounges.
They were all in fine voice as they sang together and enjoyed each others' company.
