Ranfurly residents join in the window rainbow movement

With social distancing and lots of places closing due to Coronavirus, people are connecting with each other by painting colourful rainbows and putting them in their windows for others to see.

It is thought the rainbow trend began in Italy, but has rapidly caught on in other countries including the US, Canada, Spain and now the UK.

Since schools have closed, many youngsters have used their time to draw rainbows in the hope it will brighten up the mood of any passers by.

Francess, Cathy and Jetta who live in Ranfurly Care Home decided to put their own take on the craze and created these lovely paintings to let people on the outside know that they are all doing well.

The ladies really enjoyed the activity and we were really impressed with their artwork.
