Our staff go out of their way to ensure there is a sense of community within our homes and that our residents are included in making decisions about how they receive their care, how the home is run and also how they spend their time.
Here are some pictures from when the team in Ranfurly found a fun activity which allowed the ladies and gents to open up about themselves.
'Questions Ball' is a relaxed and interactive game which encourages residents to discuss various issues and share some of their likes and dislikes.
They were so busy concentrating on the questions and answers, they almost didn't realise they were actually exercising their upper bodies when throwing and catching the beach ball!
