Ronnie's 100th birthday celebration at Spiers

Mrs Joan McLaren (known as Ronnie) celebrated her 100th birthday at Spiers Care Home on January 13th.
Alison Ravandi, Home Manager, Spiers Care Home, said: “It was lovely to see Ronnie so happy on her 100th birthday and we were delighted to be joined by some of her family for the celebrations.
“They all sat in the Melrose lounge and they had brought some drinks and nibbles to help mark this wonderful occasion.
“Then Ronnie’s fellow residents and friends came in and everyone enjoyed entertainment by Agnes and Ian from ‘Music Box’ who had us all up dancing.
“Thank you to Evelyn McCann, Deptuty Leutenant, who attended Ronnie’s party and presented her with her telegram from the Queen and also to Barbara from Spiers catering team who made Ronnie a fantastic cake. A great time was had by all.”
