Rennie's 100th Birthday Celebrations at Manorcroft

Manorcroft Care Home organised a party for resident Rennie's 100th birthday on Saturday 26th January (her birthday was the 27th.)
As it was such a special occasion, a very special day was planned with Rennie's friends and family attending for her party celebrations.
Karen Clegg provided the entertainment for the afternoon, singing songs from the 1920’s and 1940’s.
Rennie herself had a little sing song and her friends and family danced away.
Rennie was presented with her telegram from the Queen by her daughter, even getting a little emotional.
Staff, residents and guests sang happy birthday to Rennie, who had a huge smile and was absolutely delighted with her wonderful birthday cake.
Afterwards Rennie and her family went upstairs to enjoy a buffet, some drinks and one of the 100 cupcakes that had been baked by her family.
It was a fabulous day for a very special lady and she enjoyed every minute.
Rennie’s family sent some pictures through they had captured on the day and sent a lovely thank you message with it...we've included the message in the photos.
