Newark's trip to the transport museum

Here are some photos from when residents, staff from Newark Care Home and members of Morton in the Community ventured out to the Riverside Museum which is Glasgow's award-winning transport museum.

With over 3,000 objects on display, the museum holds everything from skateboards to locomotives, paintings to prams, cars and even a Stormtrooper.

Fred, Tony, John and Keith had such a lovely afternoon and were very extremely interested in learning more about the makes and models of old cars and bikes.

Fred had a special interest in the motorbikes as he used to have one of his own while Keith, who worked previously as an undertaker, loved looking at the old Rolls-Royce.

Everyone had a great time and even braved the wind so that they could go out and see the Tall Ship.
