Heartfelt donation to Newark on daughter's anniversary

Liz Gemmel, who is a domestic at Newark, popped in to the home the other day with gifts.
Manager Moira Roberts explained: "This was a bitter sweet moment as we know it was the second anniversary of Liz' beautiful daughter.
"As Liz presented me with a bird feeder, bird food, a lovely card and a donation for the residents' comfort fund, she had tears in her eyes telling me her daughter would have been very happy giving us these gifts.
"The heart of everyone at Newark goes out to Liz and her family. Thank you so much for thinking of us at such a difficult time."
