Spiers residents take a canal trip with Seagull Cruises

The lucky ladies and gents from Spiers Care Home enjoyed a fabulous trip on the Falkirk branch of Seagull Trust's canal cruises.
The trust provides cruises for people with disabilities and for the elderly. Cruise durations are based upon the conditions and the wishes of the user groups but they offer sails from one up to five hours, taking in fantastic scenery and famous attractions.
During their sail, our residents enjoyed a lovely picnic and found the water to be very calming.
It was a great opportunity for the group to enjoy each others' company - they also found the bus journey to the centre very interesting as they were fascinated by the amount of traffic.
