Laurel Bank plan next collaboration with the Linking Network

Thank you to Amy Lock, Primary Advisory Teacher from Intergenerational Linking (The Linking Network) for stopping by Laurel Bank Care Home recently.

Last year, our Bradford based homes connected with The Linking Network to organise collaborations between residents and pupils at local primary schools, encouraging both groups to participate in intergenerational activities.

Due to lockdown, the interactions all took place online but were still enjoyed by our ladies and gents and the children who were able to establish meaningful relationships.

Amy met with team members in Laurel Bank as well as some residents to discuss a project which will start in September 2021 and will hopefully involve both sides meeting each other face to face.
