Spiers join in RSPB bird watch event

On Friday, Spiers residents joined in with the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch and were lucky to see such a good mix of birds coming to visit their garden including Magpies, Starlings, Blackbirds, Blue Tits, Robins, Coal Tits, Collared Doves, Rooks and house sparrows.
The birds didn't hang about for long - maybe a bit camera shy - but our team managed to photograph a few. Most importantly, it was a very enjoyable activity and everyone was glad to participate.
