Springhill Care Home has introduced specially designed dementia wall murals into its lounge and relaxation room.
The Rosewood area now boasts life-size dresser and fireplace, helping the place feel even more homely.
The artwork not only transforms the surroundings but helps to stimulate reminiscence and reduce anxiety amongst sufferers of dementia and Alzheimers.
Residents and family members have commented on how much they like the new additions and some of our ladies and gents have already enjoyed taking a seat 'by the fire'.
