Raymond & Anne's wedding anniversary at Willow Bank

On Saturday, Willow Bank Care Home celebrated something really special - our oldest residents Raymond & Anne's 76th wedding anniversary.
The wonderful couple had a lovely afternoon and marked the momentous occasion by having an afternoon tea, accompanied by their fellow residents.
Anne explained that it was over 76 years since she had sugar in tea as when they got married rationing was still in action and they had to save the sugar for their wedding cake.
