Jean's birthday at Willow Bank

Jean, who is one of the more recent residents to Willow Bank Care Home, had her birthday this week.
She chose to stay in her room so the staff visited to sing happy birthday and present her with a chocolate muffin with a candle in it.
Jean's family had arranged to bring a cake in for the afternoon for her a muffin seemed like the best way to make Jean feel special, without spoiling her appetite.
As you can see she was very thrilled with the muffin and candle and she loved the unusual birthday card.
