Thorntree Mews Care Home is situated in the centre of Falkirk, with the home conveniently located close to local shops and public transport. Our home also has contained gardens and minibus transport is available to help residents get out and about.

Our home prides itself on our comfortable and welcoming environment, with facilities including communal areas, a bar and café, lift access, wheelchair access and internet access for residents. Bedrooms also have their own telephone and television points.

Thorntree Mews provides residential care, nursing care, residential dementia care and dementia nursing care, alongside permanent stays and short-term respite care. The home also supports people living with Parkinson’s disease or the effects of a stroke, as well as providing palliative and end of life care.

The home has 40 single bedrooms, all of which include an en-suite wet room. Residents are also welcome to bring their own furniture where appropriate, helping them to personalise their room and create familiar surroundings.

About Our Service

Care

Our approach to care

Thorntree Mews Care Home provides residential care, nursing care, residential dementia care and dementia nursing care for people aged 65 and over. The home can support people living with mild, moderate and advanced or complex dementia, as well as those with physical disabilities, visual or hearing impairments, mental health conditions, Parkinson’s disease and the effects of a stroke. Palliative and end of life care is also available, alongside permanent placements and short-term respite.

Daily activities

Thorntree Mews provides opportunities for residents to take part in activities both within the home and in the wider community. Previous activities have included creative projects, while outings also form part of life at the home. Thorntree Mews has its own minibus or other transport available, helping residents enjoy trips beyond the home where appropriate.
