Our team is committed to enriching the lives of each of our residents. Our team offers nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, as well as nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions. We also provide respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.

At our homes, residents are deemed part of the Silverline family. We love to enthusiastically encourage residents to take part in all decisions - contributing to everything from the way their room looks, to the activities they par take in.

Outside we have a sensory garden, which has found to be most beneficial to our residents. We also accommodate a library for our keen readers at our home.

My name is Martine Irvine

I have been nursing over 30years and have mostly worked in care of the elderly within the private sector.  

I have always been very passionate about nursing and making a difference.  After qualifying and raising my family I have worked my way up to now become home manager. I have worked in Baillieston Care home now for 12 years, the past 3 years as care home manager.

I am a friendly, outgoing approachable person and take pride in the genuine relationships I have made with my residents and staff over the years and hope to make many more!
