Italian Day was a day to explore the country of Italy in the residents chairs without the stress of flying and the expenses! Each resident was given a boarding pass and passport with their names on. We watched a tour of Rome on the TV, whilst the residents snacked on some breadsticks and lemon cake. After the tour had finished residents were handed out some ‘mocktails’ and started an Italian quiz. A lot of the residents said they really enjoyed themselves, and learned a lot of things they didn’t know.
