International Nurses Day at the Beeches

Residents at The Beeches had a great time celebrating International Nurses Day where they spoke about famous nurses, about nursing in general and even had nursing themed quiz which our ladies and gents proved themselves to be very knowledgeable.
For the fun part of the day, the activity team made a "Dr Feel good's medical trolley" which included a variety of sweets that were given funny names.
Our residents were good patients and let us check a heartbeat and listen to breathing. All the residents were prescribed a" sweet medication" depending on their concerns. Some of them were even brave enough to try the 'sour medication', as you may be able to tell by their faces.
What a lovely, laughter-filled, afternoon.
