Willow Bank Care Home's 1950's themed extravaganza took place last Friday complete with the amazing duo "Adare" come to sing for us.
The pair sang some brilliant rock and roll songs that the residents sang along and danced the afternoon away to them. As soon as the music started the residents were up dancing!
The group enjoyed the snacks of popcorn, candy floss (which some said they had not tried before), assorted crisps, cold drinks (including a wee wine or beer).
They finished the afternoon with a hot dog with onions and cherry pie and cream.
Our Activity team said: "Wow, what an amazing day we had. Our residents have waited over 14 months for restrictions to lift a little so we could have live entertainment. All that planning and hard work has paid off that I did to see our ladies and gents enjoy themselves so much."
