Silverline Care enlists respiratory expert to support staff amid Covid-19 outbreak

In response to the current Covid-19 situation, Silverline Care has retained the services of Jon Miles, a Consultant Physician with many years of experience in dealing with patients with respiratory conditions.

Jon will provide specialist advice and support to Silverline Care home managers and staff to ensure that they are clear on best practice in dealing with Covid-19 and have the support they require to best look after residents, staff and families at this difficult time.

As someone who is also actively engaged in the fight against Covid-19 , Jon will also ensure that Silverline Care's policies and practices remain in line with evolving best practice.

May Prentice, Head of Operations at Silverline Care said: "We are very pleased to be working with Jon to help support our staff, residents and their families. We are committed to doing everything we can at this time to keep people safe".

Please be reminded that all of Silverline's care homes remain closed to visitors as we continue to limit footfall within our homes and stem the spread of the virus.

The health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Colleagues has to be our top priority but we do appreciate the discomfort this will cause.

We hope to be able to welcome you again very soon and we will let you know as soon as this is possible.
