Silverline Care celebrates Employee Appreciate Day

On the first Friday of every March, Employee Appreciation Day is marked throughout the world. This year it was celebrated on Friday 6th March 2020.

This day was created as an opportunity for companies to practice recognition in the workplace, thanking employees for their hard work and efforts over the past year.

The Silverline Care Management Team invited all of our workplaces to acknowledge the occasion with a treat of cakes or pizzas for employees working that day.

And below are photos of just some of the fun that took place:

In Cochrane, staff enjoyed a beautiful selection of cakes, buns, truffles, cookies and much more from Costello's. Together with a snack selection, fruit, sandwiches and hot finger food selection, staff were left feeling very appreciated as well as full up!!

Staff in Newark had a great day enjoying pizza, sides and soft drinks. Andy felt so appreciated he stayed and hoovered! Night staff were not forgotten and their own delivery of pizza at night. Also, during that day, a visiting relative asked the Newark team what they were doing. When it was explained to her, the lady brought in a lovely box of chocolates to say she appreciated the staff too. Which we thought was just lovely.

Meanwhile Ranfurly put on a mouthwatering spread that was enjoyed by team members.

In the photographs from Spiers, you can see Domino’s pizzas combined with a singalong to 'hi ho silver lining' whet the appetite of some of our staff.

And in Springhill there were big smiles all round as staff treated themselves to doughnuts for breakfast.
