Spiers Care Home is a modern purpose-built property set in the heart of Beith, surrounded by community venues and local amenities as well as being a short walk from public parkland. The home has 43 private rooms all with en-suite WC, or full en-suite facilities. There are a number of comfortable lounges and dining rooms, all of which are well-appointed and offer the opportunity for residents to comfortably socialise. The home benefits from landscaped grounds including patios and courtyard spaces for residents to enjoy. There is onsite parking for visiting family and friends, and the centre of Beith’s high street, with all its amenities, is a short walk.

 Our approach to care

Spiers Care Home offers nursing and dementia care plus, subject to availability, respite care. We have a particular expertise in assisting residents with specific medical needs with our team of highly skilled registered nurses.

Daily activities

Our activities coordinator organises a weekly schedule of activities and entertainments to keep life fun and engaging for our residents. One of our large lounges is often used as a venue for musical entertainment for our residents. Residents are able to explore the local community and beyond through trips and excursions in our own minibus.


Our chef prepares a delicious menu of three meals a day plus snacks. Personal preferences and dietary requirements are fully catered for so that all residents look forward to mealtimes.

11th April 2017 Spiers Care Home invites local school to join activities
Spiers Care Home in Beith has welcomed pupils from local Garnock Community Campus to participate in a number of activities to help towards their Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Certificate. The pupils have been visiting for the past four weeks and participated in sports activities such as bean bag throwing, kicking balls to each other and throwing objects into hoops. Laura McGuire, manager at Spiers Care Home said: “The residents have thoroughly enjoyed meeting the pupils from Garnock Community Campus and taking part in activities. They have looked forward to each meeting and it has introduced them to things they wouldn’t normally participate it. “It’s been great to see friendships develop between the pupils and the residents during the visits.” One resident, Sadie McNally, was very happy to see that her great grandson Ricky Niblock was one of the pupils taking part.
11th April 2017 Spiers Care Home win Christmas cake decorating competition
Spiers Care Home in Beith, North Ayrshire won a cake decorating contest for their impressive ‘Santa and Rudolph in bed’ cake. The competition ran across Silverline’s seven homes and residents and staff were encouraged to design and create a Christmas themed cake. Rachel Dryden, CEO of Silverline Care visited each home to judge the cakes. She said: “All seven homes put in a lot of effort and created some fantastic cakes, but Spiers Care Home was particularly impressive. “All of the residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed coming up with designs and then making the Christmas cakes, it was a lovely thing to do for Christmas.” The cake decorating competition was one of many Christmas activities organised at Spiers. Residents were also treated to a pantomime, a Christmas craft fayre and a trip to Glasgow to see the lights.
