Special guests at Manorcroft Care Home’s summer fete

Residents, families and the local community got in the summer spirit at Manorcroft Care Home’s annual fete last Saturday. Local company Real Donkeys bought some furry friends along to give children rides, and the donkeys were even allowed into the home to meet residents. There was a cake stall, face painting and henna among lots of other stands, and singer Karen Clegg gave a special performance for residents. The home raised £400 which will be used for future outings and activities for residents. Neil Booth, Manorcroft Care Home Manager said: “We had an excellent turn out on the day and residents, their families and staff thoroughly enjoyed the activities and stalls on display, especially the visit from the donkeys. We’re delighted with the amount of money raised.”
