Our approach to care
Manorcroft Care Home offers nursing care and, subject to availability, respite and convalescent care. We have a particular expertise in assisting residents with specific medical needs with our team of highly skilled registered nurses.
The home’s activities coordinator puts together a full programme, which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of our residents. Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, art and craft, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about.
Our chef prepares a delicious menu of three meals a day plus snacks. Personal preferences and dietary requirements are fully catered for so that all residents look forward to mealtimes. Visiting guests are always welcome to join their loved one for a meal.
If you are thinking about care for yourself or an elderly loved one, we encourage you to be in touch with us to arrange a visit. Our home manager, Janet Riding, will take time with you to understand your current situation and provide help and support so that you find the right outcome for you.
